The National Environmental Agency warns the population of Georgia about possible deterioration of weather conditions.
According to the agency, on October 29, rain is expected across Georgia, in some areas heavy, with strong westerly winds and possible thunderstorms. At sea, storm waves of 4–5 points are expected.
The anticipated precipitation may cause a significant rise in water levels in Georgian rivers, flash floods on small rivers, as well as the formation and activation of landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous areas (hazard level — moderate).
