The restoration of gas supply for up to 150,000 subscribers in Vake-Saburtalo has begun in stages following the repair of a damaged 500 mm central gas pipeline, Tbilisi Energy announced.
Work on the damaged section of the pipeline continued throughout the night, and the company has now entered the second and most complex stage of gas supply restoration. According to Tbilisi Energy, all relevant departments are fully mobilized to complete the process safely and efficiently.
Subscribers are advised to check their gas taps and ensure they are closed to avoid potential hazards as the supply is gradually restored. Notifications regarding the restoration process will be sent via SMS.
“Tbilisi Energy apologizes for the inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our control. The gas supply restoration has already begun and will be completed in phases by the end of the day on February 11,” the company stated.
