The National Environmental Agency has released a weather forecast for Georgia for July 9–11.
According to the agency, from July 9 to 11, brief showers with thunderstorms are expected in some regions of Georgia, with hail possible in certain areas. In the regions of Imereti, Samegrelo, and Shida Kartli, strong easterly winds are expected at times.
In Tbilisi, brief showers with thunderstorms are possible. Daytime air temperatures will range from +32°C to +36°C.
In coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): mostly dry weather is expected, with daytime temperatures between +32°C and +35°C.
In lowland areas of western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): mostly dry, with occasional strong easterly winds. Daytime temperatures will be +34°C to +36°C.
In mountainous regions of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): brief showers with thunderstorms are possible, with daytime temperatures at +34°C to +36°C.
In high-mountain regions of western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): brief showers with thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will range from +27°C to +29°C.
In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): short thunderstorms are expected; strong easterly winds are likely in Gori and Tskhinvali. Temperatures will reach +34°C to +36°C in Shida Kartli and +37°C to +39°C in Kvemo Kartli.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): light brief thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will be around +32°C to +34°C.
In mountain regions of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): brief thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will range from +32°C to +34°C.
In high-mountain regions of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): brief thunderstorms are expected. Daytime temperatures will range from +21°C to +23°C.
